Kellogg’s visit to Kyiv will take place "in due time", timeframe is being determined - Sybiha

Kellogg’s visit to Kyiv

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said that the visit of Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg, who was chosen by Donald Trump as special envoy for Russia and Ukraine, will take place "in due time."

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Ukrinform.

Sybiha noted that work is currently underway to determine the timing and content of the visit so that it can have the most effective result.

"We welcome all visits from our American friends. This is the first position. The second position is that we hope that after the inauguration, the first visits of the new administration - the leaders, the executives - will take place in Ukraine. The third position is that the meeting and visit of General Kellogg are extremely important for us. I am confident that this meeting will take place in due course. We are in contact to clearly define the timeframe for its holding and filling it with maximum content," Sibiga said.

Earlier it was reported that US President-elect Donald Trump's representative in Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, postponed his trip to Kyiv and other European capitals until after Trump's inauguration on January 20.
