Occupiers destroyed Ukrainian literature in libraries in Kherson region - NRC

In the temporarily occupied Kherson region, Russians, following the example of Nazi times, destroyed Ukrainian literature, which they defined as "extremist".
This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to the National Resistance Center.
As noted, the list of books that were destroyed included works of classics of Ukrainian literature, history textbooks, books about the Holodomor and the crimes of the communist regime, as well as children's fairy tales.
The occupation administration claimed responsibility for these actions, stating that they were carried out as part of the fight against "extremist materials." It is known that it is occupation officials from the Ministry of Culture, which does not recognize Ukrainian culture, who are responsible for the action.
The Ministry of Culture in the occupation administration has already announced the destruction of the literature, and the names of those responsible for this crime will be revealed in the near future.
