Regional TCR on conflict in Dnipro: Man shouted that he was "not fool to fight" and used knife. He suffered facial injury due to actions of woman. VIDEO
A video showing a part of the conflict situation involving representatives of the TCR in Dnipro is being actively shared on social media.
According to Censor.NET, the conflict was commented on by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional TCR and SS.
They claim that the conflict was provoked by a citizen who maliciously violated the rules of military registration and stabbed a serviceman and a law enforcement officer.
"The descriptions and comments about the event are, for the most part, completely untrue and are either hostile propaganda or work for it," the TCR said.
TCR's position
In fact, according to the TCR, the following happened: On 7 January, in the city of Dnipro, officials of the alert group, consisting of officers of the National Police and members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, approached a 45-year-old citizen to check his military registration documents.
"The citizen resorted to inadequate and aggressive actions: he snatched the service ID from the hands of the serviceman and tore it up, shouting that he was 'not a fool to go to war'. But the man did not stop there and resorted to clearly criminal acts of violence. He pulled out a cold steel weapon (a knife) and injured a serviceman and a policeman," the TCR added.
Further, according to the military enlistment office, several elderly women passers-by who did not see the attack on the soldier and the police officer but witnessed his arrest, resorted to aggressive "rescue" of the man, which led to a stampede. One of the women, trying to lift the man to his feet, fell with him on the ice-covered grate of the rainwater collector. As a result of the "help", the "rescued" man suffered a facial injury.
The offender has been identified, and law enforcement agencies are deciding whether to initiate criminal proceedings over the attack.
The injured serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received qualified medical care and is not in danger of death.
The day before, the National Police reported a conflict during a warning event in Dnipro and noted that a man had failed to provide documents and had wounded a law enforcement officer with a knife.
