Rada passes draft law on basic military training: women can register voluntarily

The Verkhovna Rada has adopted draft law No. 12076 on amendments to the Law "On Military Duty and Service" regarding medical records during the training of conscripts.
This was announced by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, Censor.NET reports.
The decision was supported by 298 MPs.
"An important amendment has been made here: Before basic training, women volunteers are registered as conscripts of their own free will," the MP said.
The draft law, according to Honcharenko, also states that young men abroad who turn 18 can register without having to come to Ukraine.
