United States has allocated $500 million arms package for Ukrainian F-16s

The US Department of Defense has announced the allocation of the 74th tranche of military aid to Ukraine under the Presidential Decision Making (PDA) program.
The list of equipment and machinery is published on the department's website, Censor.NET reports.
The total value of the package is $500 million.
The aid includes:
- AIM-7, RIM-7, AIM-9M missiles. The AIM-7 and its anti-aircraft modification RIM-7 are used by modernized Buk-M1 systems, continuing their operation after the depletion of Soviet stocks. The AIM-9M is designed for F-16 fighters and is equipped with a thermal imaging homing head.
- Air-to-ground munitions. Probably, these are 230-kilogram JDAM-ER and 100-kilogram GBU-39/B, which are already actively used by the Ukrainian Air Force.
- Support equipment for the F-16.
- Armored bridging systems, small arms, ammunition, spare parts and auxiliary equipment.
The package also includes funding for training of the Ukrainian military, services and logistical support to ensure the use of weapons.
