Polish Defense Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz did not rule out Russian attack on his country

Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh said that the threat of a Russian attack on Poland cannot be ruled out.
He said this in an interview with RMF FM radio station, Censor.NET reports with reference to Yevropeiska Pravda.
The minister recalled the situation with Ukraine when many did not believe in the reality of a full-scale Russian invasion.
"Attacks of hybrid warfare are already taking place not only in Poland but all over Europe. This is a part of the war, very dangerous. Let's not underestimate it. Sowing lies on the Internet, distorting facts, manipulating, weakening social stability is the destruction of one of the pillars of security. This is a serious attack on Poland," Kosiniak-Kamysh said.
Among the threats, the minister singled out acts of sabotage, sabotage, and the situation in the Baltic Sea.
"We need to be prepared for any scenario. Everyone thought that Russia would not attack Ukraine. Let's be smarter, let's be ready," the minister warned.
Kosiniak-Kamysh also reported on Poland's efforts to strengthen the defense of the Baltic Sea. According to him, the country's Navy will receive new ships and a contract for the purchase of submarines under the Orca program is planned.
The Defense Minister expressed support for a strategic alliance with the Scandinavian countries.
"We have a similar feeling about the threat from Russia and assistance to Ukraine. We are investing in this area, in the Baltic countries, in Northern Europe, it is very important for us," Kosiniak-Kamysh emphasized.
