On the morning of January 14, 2025, the Russian cities of Engels and Saratov are attacked by drones.
This was reported by the governor of Saratov region, Roman Busargin, in his telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.
"As a result of the UAV attack, an industrial enterprise in Engels was damaged. Emergency and operational services are working in an enhanced mode," the official said.
He also clarified that classes in Saratov and Engels schools will be held remotely today.
It should be noted that Busargin, commenting on the fire at the Engels oil depot, did not specify which facility he was talking about, but called it an industrial enterprise.
According to the ASTRA telegram channel, there is a heavy fire at the site of the enemy hit.

Earlier, Censor.NET reported that Saratov and Engels were under a massive drone attack on the night of January 8. Later it became known that the air base's oil storage facility was on fire in Engels after the drone attack.
Later, the Ukrainian Defense Forces confirmed that the oil storage base "Combinat Kristal" in Engels, Russia, had been attacked.
On January 8, local authorities declared a state of emergency. On 13 January, local authorities announced the "extinguishment of outside fire" at the Engels oil depot.
