Police representatives have no right to mobilize citizens - TRC and SS
Representatives of the National Police have the right to conduct warning measures without the participation of employees of the territorial recruitment center, but they cannot mobilize citizens.
This was stated by the deputy head of the district TCR and SS in Kyiv, Major Larysa Kozak, Censor.NET reports citing RBC-Ukraine.
According to the legislation, representatives of the National Police, executive authorities, district state civil administrations, heads of enterprises, institutions and organizations are obliged to ensure mobilization.
"The national police, since they are fully involved in the process of searching for citizens who evade mobilization, identifying, bringing them to justice and bringing them to justice, of course, must carry out these activities together with the TCR," she explained.
According to Kozak, representatives of the TCR do not have a law enforcement function. Instead, law enforcement officers have the right to be without employees of the territorial recruitment center, as they are involved in notification activities. But they cannot mobilize.
The deputy head of the DTCR and SS added that representatives of the TCR have the right to mobilize conscripts, but without the police it is difficult to check whether the offender is wanted.
"We cannot carry out administrative detention and delivery accordingly, and accordingly, we have no legal limits to take administrative measures," she said.
