Specialists of Air Force Engineering and Aviation Service will not be transferred to other units of Armed Forces, - Commander of Air Force Kryvonozhko

There will be no transfers of aviation engineering specialists to units of other branches of the Armed Forces. This also applies to other specialties that are in short supply in the Air Force.
This was stated by Lieutenant General Anatolii Kryvonozhko, acting commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the press service of the Air Force reported, Censor.NET reported.
"We are also not talking about the transfer of people who have studied abroad to Western equipment of anti-aircraft missile troops, trained soldiers from mobile fire groups, and other highly specialized specialists, who are objectively difficult to replace," Kryvonozhko said.
He noted that the situation at the front "really requires difficult decisions from the top military leadership, including the transfer of Air Force servicemen to units of other branches and types of the Armed Forces."
The Acting Commander of the Air Force also said that the Air Force has been reinforcing its combat sworn brothers on the front line for several years, primarily for units that are being trained on the basis of the Consolidated Air Force Rifle Brigade and are fighting in the hottest areas of the front.
"In addition, according to the decisions taken, the Air Force is gradually transferring a certain number of personnel to ground units to strengthen the brigades on the front line. However, this will not apply to the scarce specialties and specialists involved in combat aviation missions," Kryvonozhko emphasized.
He noted that the Air Force is constantly working to strengthen anti-aircraft missile units, improve the system of mobile fire groups, increase the efficiency of the aviation component, and such development of the Air Force will continue.
Earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that there were no plans to transfer the highly scarce specialists of the Air Force's engineering and aviation service who maintain aircraft to infantry units .
What was the background?
The day before, the aviation and technical personnel of the Air Force of Ukraine released an appeal in which they emphasized that today they face "a real challenge that could jeopardize not only our ability to perform combat missions, but also destroy the very foundation of our aviation."
Aviation technicians from the Carpathian 114th Air Force Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces also called for publicizing the situation with the transfer of personnel to the infantry.
