All 12 Russian servicemen who shot civilians in Bucha have been identified. Commander of Russian paratroopers was served notice of suspicion - National Police

The National Police has served a notice of suspicion to the commander of Russian paratroopers involved in the shootings of people at the intersection of Vokzalna and Yablunska streets in Bucha. Law enforcement officers also identified all 12 servicemen who killed 16 civilians on the intersection of these streets between 5 and 9 March 2022.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
Among the civilians killed by the Russians were women, men and children aged 14 to 69. All of them were shot with machine guns and military vehicles while trying to get to work or to their relatives, evacuate their families from the war zone or simply find food.
"Police investigators have done a tremendous job: they have studied in detail all the circumstances of this war crime and identified all the Russian military involved in the killings. It was established that these were 12 paratroopers of the 234th Air Assault Regiment from Pskov. Their commander gave the order to occupy the sector at the intersection of Vokzalna and Yablunska streets and to shoot to kill anyone who came into their field of vision. He personally supervised the execution of the order, gave instructions on the arrangement of firing positions and the duty of Russian military personnel," the police said.
The police collected numerous pieces of evidence confirming that the commander of the Pskov paratroopers ordered the shooting of civilians. Investigators notified him of suspicion of giving an order that violates the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The suspect faces life imprisonment for his crime.
"Police officers are cooperating with representatives of the International Criminal Court to ensure that the evidence obtained becomes the basis for bringing the military and political leadership of Russia to justice in international courts. Procedural guidance in the proceedings is provided by the Office of the Prosecutor General," the police said.
Earlier it was reported that law enforcement officers identified a Russian commander involved in the murder of Iryna Filkina, the "woman with a red manicure" whose photo was circulated by the world media after the liberation of Bucha, Kyiv region, from occupation.
