Implementation of two-state solution for Israel and Palestine is only way to peace - Ukraine’s MFA

Ukraine welcomes the agreement between Israel and Hamas on stabilization in the Gaza Strip and the release of hostages taken hostage.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"We hope that the parties will be able to achieve a sustainable end to the armed conflict, which has led to irreparable human losses and serious destruction of social and humanitarian infrastructure. We call on the parties to strictly adhere to their obligations," the statement said.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that it remains critically important to ensure unimpeded access to the Gaza Strip for the UN agencies involved and international humanitarian organizations to provide emergency assistance to the Palestinians.
"Ukraine is ready to continue to provide assistance to those in need, in particular to supply food to civilians in crisis situations. Ukraine will continue to provide humanitarian support to the Palestinians and help efforts to overcome the humanitarian catastrophe.
In the context of the prospects for broader normalization in the region, we believe that the practical realization of the two-state solution of Israel and Palestine living side by side in peace and security is the only way to achieve comprehensive and sustainable peace and regional stability.
The Middle East peace process must be resumed through the unconditional implementation by the parties of the relevant UN Security Council resolutions, as well as other previously reached international agreements," the ministry added.
The Foreign Ministry also praised the mediation efforts of the United States, the State of Qatar and Egypt, which helped to negotiate the release of the hostages and reach mutually acceptable approaches to the future stages of stabilizing the situation in the Gaza Strip.
Earlier it was reported that Israel officially supported the truce with the Palestinian group Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
As a reminder, American media reported that on Wednesday, January 15, Israel and Hamas reached an agreement on a ceasefire and the release of all hostages.
It was also reported earlier that on January 11, US President-elect Donald Trump's special envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, arrived in Israel to seek a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of all hostages held by Hamas.
