Baerbock calls for approval of EUR 3 billion aid to Ukraine before Bundestag elections - DW

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock expressed hope that the decision to provide additional assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 3 billion euros will be made before the early Bundestag elections scheduled for February 23.
She said this in an interview with the ARD TV channel, Censor.NET reports citing DW.
"We see that the Russian president does not take into account the fact that we are now in an election campaign and have early elections," Baerbock said.
She noted that she expects the budget committee to finalize this issue next week.
Earlier it was reported that Baerbock expressed dissatisfaction with the German government for its indecision on the issue of supporting Ukraine.
