President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has congratulated Donald Trump on his return to the White House as the 47th president of the United States.
The head of state wrote about this on the social network X, Censor.NET reports.
"Congratulations to President Trump and the American people on the inauguration of the 47th President of the United States. Today is a day of change, but also a day of hope for solving many problems, including global challenges. President Trump is always decisive, and the Peace through Strength policy he announced provides an opportunity to strengthen American leadership and achieve a long-term and just peace, which is a priority," Zelenskyy emphasized.
The Ukrainian president also emphasized that this century is being determined right now.
"We must all work together to make this a great and successful century for democracies, not for those who want us to fail," he said.
Zelenskyy wished Trump success and expressed hope for "active and mutually beneficial cooperation."
"Together we are stronger, and we can ensure greater security, stability and economic growth for the world and our two countries," the Ukrainian president summarized.
As a reminder, on January 20, Donald Trump took the oath of office in Washington, D.C., and officially became the 47th President of the United States of America.
