Successes in Kursk direction have become source of faith in new victories, - Syrskyi
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi emphasized that the successful counteroffensive in the Kursk direction last year was an important moral achievement for the military and society, giving hope for future victories.
He said this in an interview with Radio Bayraktar, Censor.NET reports.
According to him, the successful operation in the Kursk direction not only boosted morale but also signaled to the country that the gains in the war continue.
"The year has been marked by constant active actions of the enemy: they attacked, we defended. But we also had some good news when we conducted a successful counteroffensive in the Kursk direction, which greatly motivated our personnel, raised the mood in the troops and in society, and gave us hope that this offensive would not be the last," said Syrskyi.
He also emphasized the importance of preparing not only for defensive actions, but also for new offensive operations, as war requires a proactive strategy.
