Consequences of enemy shelling of Zaporizhzhia: over 80 apartment buildings and more than 30 private houses damaged

In Zaporizhzhia, the elimination of the consequences of the Russian shelling that took place yesterday, January 24, continues. More than 100 apartment buildings and private houses were damaged as a result of the attacks.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

"Yesterday, Russian troops attacked the regional center twice with drones and missiles. One person was killed and 54 were injured as a result of the invaders' insidious attacks. More than 80 apartment buildings and more than 30 private houses were destroyed and damaged," the statement said.

It is also reported that during yesterday, residents of Zaporizhzhia filed 720 applications for damaged property. The municipal emergency service continues to cover the broken windows with OSB.

"Heat supply to the buildings has been restored. I am grateful to our utility and emergency services for this. The next step is to restore electricity to the residents. I also instructed the heads of utility companies to organize prompt removal of construction waste at the sites of destruction," said Ivan Fedorov, head of the RMA.
