Zelenskyy: Putin is trying to manipulate Trump’s desire for peace

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on Russian dictator Vladimir Putin's statements about his readiness to talk to US President Donald Trump. The Head of State believes that Putin wants to manipulate Trump's desire to achieve peace.
He said this in his traditional evening video address, Censor.NET reports.
The president said that on Friday, January 24, he held a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, where he heard a report from the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Oleh Ivashchenko, on the military potential of the Russian Federation.
"I held a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief today. Several issues. The report of the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service on Russia's military potential and Putin's readiness to continue the war and manipulate the leaders of the world. And in particular, he wants to manipulate the desire of the President of the United States of America to achieve peace. I am confident that no Russian manipulations will succeed anymore," Zelenskyy said in his address.
According to the Head of State, the second issue discussed at the meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief was the provision of all units on the front line.
"These are weapons and people. I thank everyone in the state who approaches this issue responsibly," the president added.
As a reminder, in his address, Zelenskyy also called for a halt to the supply of parts for military production to Russia.
