Russians are trying to bypass Pokrovsk from west to cut important routes - OSGT "Khortytsia"

The Pokrovsk direction is the most intense in terms of fighting. And the enemy is making the most efforts to bypass Pokrovsk from the west.
According to Censor.NET, this was stated by Major Viktor Trehubov, spokesman for the OSGT "Khortytsia", during a telethon.
"There is an attempt to cover the city without entering it. They came at it from the south side. Where there are small villages. They are trying to go around it from the west, clinging to small villages and forest plantations. This is done in order to cut off the roads leading to the city and force the Ukrainian forces defending it to retreat," Tregubov said.
According to him, Ukrainian forces are doing everything they can to prevent this and drive the enemy out.
As of January 25, 10,000 people remain in the Pokrovske district, and 7,000 in Pokrovsk itself. All children were evacuated from the district.
