Most Russian attacks took place in Pokrovsk direction - General Staff

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the onslaught of the occupation forces. So far, 125 combat engagements have taken place.

Russian shelling of Ukraine
Today, the Russian terrorist state carried out 44 air strikes, dropping 88 GABs (guided aerial bombs). In addition, the invaders used 1007 kamikaze drones to strike and fired more than 4600 times at the positions of our troops and settlements.
The situation in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, there was one combat engagement in the direction of Lyptsi. The enemy also launched an air strike in the area of Kozacha Lopan.
The aggressor attacked our positions three times in the Kupiansk direction, near Petropavlivka, Zahryzove and Nova Kruhliakivka. Defense Forces units stopped all enemy attacks.
Hostilities in the East
In the Lyman direction, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian troops in the vicinity of Kopanky, Balka Zhuravka, Yampolivka, Zelena Dolyna, Terny and Kolodiazi. Our soldiers repelled nine enemy attacks. The areas of Nova Kruhliakivka and Lyman came under air strikes.
In the Siversk direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has made nine attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Bilohorivka and Verkhnokamianske, all of which have been completed. The enemy launched air strikes on Dronivka and Siversk.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 10 attempts of the invaders to advance in the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Stupochky, Chasiv Yar and Predtechyne. At the same time, the enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Fedorivka, Tykhonivka and Bilokuzmynivka.
In the Toretsk direction, the occupiers attempted to advance 13 times in the areas of Toretsk, Dyliivka, Shcherbynivka and Krymske, with one engagement still ongoing. They also bombarded Shcherbynivka, Katerynivka, Kleban-Byk and Ivanopillia using GABs.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the aggressor attacked our positions 51 times in the areas of Malynivka, Yelyzavetivka, Vodiane Druhe, Novotoretske, Promin, Pokrovsk, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Udachne, Yasenove, Shevchenko and Dachne. Seven combat engagements are still ongoing. Bilytske was hit by a guided missile attack.
According to the available information, the occupiers' losses in the direction amounted to 337 people killed and wounded, ten vehicles, one UAV antenna, one satellite communication device, two electronic warfare systems, one ATGM, a Murom-M surveillance complex and three operational and tactical UAVs were destroyed, in addition, two enemy mortars were significantly damaged.
The situation in the South
In the Novopavlivka direction, the invaders attacked Ukrainian troops' positions near Kostiantynopil once. The settlements of Rozlyv and Komar were hit by air strikes.
In the Huliaipole direction, the aggressor made four attempts to drive our defenders out of their positions in the areas of Novopil and Novosilka. Ternove and Temyrivka suffered from enemy air strikes.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy did not conduct any active operations.
In the Prydniprovske direction, Russian invaders tried seven times to force our units out of their positions, but failed, and retreated after suffering losses.
Kursk direction
Ukrainian defense forces continue to conduct operations in the Kursk sector. Today, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 11 attacks of the invading army in this area, in addition, enemy aircraft carried out 12 air strikes on their own territory, dropping 16 GABs.
Today, we would like to recognize the soldiers of the 422nd Separate Battalion of Unmanned Systems, the 126th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade, the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa, the 81st Separate Airmobile Slobozhanska Brigade, the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade, and the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Kosh Ataman Kostyantyn Hordiyenko for their effective combat work.
