Luxembourg’s Foreign Minister Bettel on Trump’s policy: "If you are weak, he will eat you"
Luxembourg's Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel commented on the possibility of a trade war with the United States.

"If you are weak, he will eat you. And if you don't negotiate, it will kill you. He is losing his appetite for Europe. This is how we should deal with it: be strong but united. "America first" does not mean that America is alone, because America also needs partners," the minister explained.
According to Bettel, the consequences of any trade war will also hit Trump's voters, which was hardly his goal.
At the same time, the foreign minister, who worked with Trump when he was prime minister of Luxembourg, expressed optimism.
He said that he "survived" then, so Europe will also "survive" and have a strong economy, because "no one benefits from trying to weaken someone."
