An enemy subversive reconnaissance group infiltrated Sumy region

This week, a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group (SRG) of 13 people infiltrated the Sumy region in the area of the Seredyna-Buda community. Ukrainian defenders eliminated some of the invaders, and some of the invaders were pushed back beyond the border.

This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on the evening of February 7, Censor.NET reports.

"This week, an enemy SRG of 13 people entered the Sumy region - in the area of the Seredyna-Buda community. The sabotage group was repelled by our defenders, partially killed and partially pushed back across the border," the statement said.

The RMA also said that an increase in the intensity of enemy shelling in the Sumy region was recorded.

"In particular, over the past week, Russians fired 534 times at our region in Sumy region. In particular, in the last 7 days alone, the enemy launched 54 GABs (guided aerial bombs) at our communities, 150 FPV drone strikes and 199 UAV drops. In addition, the enemy attacks civilians with Shahed-type UAVs. During February 3-7, the security and defense forces of Sumy region shot down 61 enemy drones," the administration said.
