As noted, there was a crew of 24 people on board: four Russians, eight Georgian citizens and 12 Indonesians, the publication claims. Around two in the morning, about 130 thousand tons of fuel oil were loaded onto the tanker, the publication said. However, three powerful explosions occurred in the engine room before sailing. The crew managed to get ashore, but the ship's engine room began to flood.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations set up booms around the tanker. According to preliminary data, there was no leakage of oil products into the water. It is claimed that there were no injuries.
