More than 8,000 citizens have applied to join the Armed Forces through recruitment centers - Ministry of Defense

Since the start of the Ukrainian army recruitment centers in February 2024, 39,488 citizens have received consultations. 8 ,300 people have started the process of registration for military service.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

Currently, there are 48 recruitment centers in Ukraine, mostly located in the premises of ASCs, of which 47 operate offline. Residents of Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Lviv, Zaporizhzhia regions and the city of Kyiv are the most active recruiters.

It is also noted that 20% of candidates for the Armed Forces are women. Most women apply to recruitment centers in Chernivtsi, Khmelnytskyi, and Ternopil regions.
