Trump on peace deal between Ukraine and Russia: "I think there’s going to be something"

US President Donald Trump has spoken of ‘tremendous progress’ in negotiations with Ukraine and Russia.
According to Censor.NET, citing The New York Post, he said this in an interview with Fox News.
"I think it’s going to happen. I think we’ve made tremendous progress in the last week. We’re dealing with the Russians. We’re dealing with the Ukrainians. I think there’s going to be something," he said.
As a reminder, the US delegation led by Vice President J.D. Vance and Trump's special envoy to Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg will meet with Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the Munich Security Conference in Germany.
Earlier, Trump said that Ukraine is ready to provide the US with rare earth minerals worth $500 billion in payment for military aid.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that representatives of US President Donald Trump's team would arrive in Ukraine before the Munich Security Conference, which is scheduled to take place on 14-16 February.
Trump said in an interview that he had spoken to Putin on the phone to try to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine.
