To facilitate work of commanders and combat units: Ministry of Defence is deploying ’Impulse’ military recording system

’Impulse’ system to be introduced for military recording

The ‘Impulse’ system will be used to keep records of military personnel in Ukraine. It is intended to facilitate the work of commanders and military units.

Deputy Minister of Defence for Digitalisation Kateryna Chernohorenko said this in an interview with "Militarnyi", Censor.NET reports.

According to Chernohorenko, the idea of 'Impulse' is to create a comprehensive database for military use, which will contain information about the rank, speciality, awards, certificates, assigned property and other data.

This system will allow commanders to receive complete information about their units in real time. This will include the number of personnel, the presence of soldiers on the ground or on a business trip, and the history of appointments.

In addition, according to the deputy minister, the system will integrate with the property service, which will make it possible to track the property assigned to each serviceman. A moral and psychological support module will also be introduced.

In general, 'Impulse' is aimed at simplifying and optimising the work of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' combat units.
