95 out of 143 "Shaheds" destroyed, another 46 drones lost in location - Air Force

On the night of February 16, 2025, Russian troops attacked with 143 Shahed-type attack UAVs and various types of imitation drones.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press center of the Air Force Command.
As noted, the air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
How many drones did our air defense destroy?
According to the Air Force, as of 09.00 a.m., 95 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones were confirmed to have been shot down in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, and Mykolaiv regions.
46 enemy imitator drones were lost in the area (without negative consequences).
Consequences of the hostile attack
The Kyiv, Sumy, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions suffered as a result of the hostile attack.
Earlier, Censor.NET reported that on the night of Sunday, February 16, explosions were heard in Mykolaiv.
It was also noted that the Russian invaders had launched attack drones on the territory of Ukraine. In particular, there were reports of a threat to Mykolaiv and the region. Censor.NET also informed that a warehouse building in Boryspil was damaged due to an enemy attack.
