Europe must more than ever before defend Ukraine, - French Minister Valls
Europe's relations with the United States are at a turning point, forcing European countries to defend Ukraine and increase their defence spending more than ever before.
According to Censor.NET, citing Reuters, the French government's Minister for Overseas Territories Manuel Valls said on Monday.
"We are at a turning point," he said.
According to him, this forces the EU "more than ever before to support our defence for Ukraine, and to increase our defence spending budget."
As a reminder, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said that his country is considering sending troops to Ukraine as part of a peacekeeping mission after the end of hostilities.
