Since the beginning of the day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have conducted 80 combat engagements with the Russian occupiers.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian strikes against Ukraine
Today, the communities of Liskivshchyna in the Chernihiv region; Velyka Pysarivka, Starykove, Shalyhyne, Oleksandrivka, Prohres, Zarichne, Bachivsk and Velykyi Prykil in the Sumy region suffered from enemy artillery and mortar fire.
The situation in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units near Vovchansk and was repulsed. The enemy fired uncontrolled aerial missiles at Veterynarne and Okhrymivka.
In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian occupants carried out four attacks near Petropavlivka, Hlushkivka, Zahryzove and in the direction of Novooosynove. Two firefights are still ongoing.
Hostilities in the East
In the Lyman direction, the invading army launched six attacks on Ukrainian positions near Hrekivka, Zarichne and Yampolivka. Two combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy is trying to advance in the area of Chasiv Yar and Vasiukivka, one of the three attacks was repelled by the Defense Forces, and the fighting continues.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy is trying to break into our defense in the area of Toretsk, two attacks are ongoing, three attacks by the invaders have already been repelled by our defenders.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, Russian invaders have made 33 attempts to push our soldiers from their positions in the areas of Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Pishchane, Kotlynne, Udachne, Uspenivka, Nadiyivka, Yasenove, Ulaklivka, Andriivka and Dachne. Ukrainian defense forces are holding back the attack and repelled 23 attacks, ten firefights are still ongoing. Russian terrorists' aviation struck Pokrovsk and Oleksiivka with GABs (guided aerial bombs).
In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled eight assault attacks by enemy troops, six more combat engagements are ongoing. The enemy is trying to advance in the areas of Novosilka, Rivne, Novyi Komar and in the directions of Kostiantynopil and Burlatske.
The situation in the South
Ukrainian troops repelled one attack in the Orikhiv direction today, and another firefight is ongoing. The enemy was active in the areas of Shcherbaky and Nesterianka.
Fighting in the Kursk region
The operation in the Kursk region continues. Ukrainian soldiers repelled six enemy attacks today, two more clashes are still ongoing, and the invaders' aircraft carried out 22 strikes, dropping 25 GABs.
There were no significant changes in other directions.
