Russian army puts pressure on certain areas in Novopavlivka direction using armoured columns – "Khortytsia" OSGT
Russian troops are trying to use armored columns in the Novopavlivka direction of the Donetsk region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding the line.
This was stated on television by the spokesman for the operational and strategic grouping of troops "Khortytsia" Viktor Trehubov, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"The situation there (Novopavlivka direction – ed.) is problematic. There are certain areas where Russian forces exert significant pressure. They are making some attempts to advance in armored columns—usually unsuccessful—but they are persistently trying to break through. So, I would say this direction remains quite challenging for us at the moment," Trehubov said.
He added that Ukrainian troops are holding the line in this area, resisting and inflicting significant losses on the enemy in both personnel and equipment.
Earlier it was reported that Russian troops captured the village of Sribne in Donetsk region and advanced into Donetsk and Kharkiv regions.
