The meeting between Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump is unlikely to take place next week in Saudi Arabia.

This was stated by Putin's aide Yuriy Ushakov, Censor.NET reports citing Russian media.

According to him, the talks between the Russian and US delegations went "well". There was allegedly a serious conversation on all issues.

Russia and the United States agreed to promote bilateral relations, and both Moscow and Washington are interested in this, Ushakov assured. He also added that a meeting between Putin and Trump is unlikely to take place next week, it is difficult to talk about specific dates, and hard work is needed.

"Moscow and Washington will work to create conditions for a meeting between Putin and Trump," he added.

Earlier, Bloomberg reported that Trump and Putin could hold a summit in Saudi Arabia next week.
