US, Russia agree to appoint high-level teams for Ukraine talks - State Department

At the talks in Saudi Arabia, the United States and Russia agreed to appoint high-level teams to negotiate on Ukraine.
This was stated by US State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce, Censor.NET reports citing The Guardian.
According to the publication, the parties agreed to create a consultation mechanism to eliminate "irritants" in relations between Russia and the United States.
The Russian Federation and the United States also agreed to appoint high-level teams for negotiations on Ukraine, "working to end the conflict in Ukraine as soon as possible."
"One phone call followed by one meeting is not enough to establish a lasting peace," the spokeswoman added.
