US-Russia talks in Saudi Arabia are over: Ushakov calls them ’not bad’ - BBC

Negotiations between the delegations of the United States and Russia in Saudi Arabia ended after a three-hour meeting.
This was reported by the BBC, Censor.NET informs.
According to Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, the talks went ‘positive’ and both sides agreed to take into account each other's interests, in particular in the development of bilateral relations between Washington and Moscow.
"We have agreed to take account of each other's interests and develop bilateral relations, since both Moscow and Washington are interested in this," Ushakov said.
In addition, the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, Kirill Dmitriev, said that the meeting opened a ‘very positive, constructive dialogue’ and stressed that both countries now understand each other better.
"Unlike the Biden administration, which never tried to hear Russia's position, this was a very clear effort to start dialogue, understand Russia's position and discuss the things we agree upon," Dmitriev said.
As a reminder, today, 18 February, the Russian delegation arrived at the venue of the meeting with the US delegation in Riyadh.
