Erdogan: Turkey is ideal platform for peace talks on Ukraine
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that his country is ready to host possible peace talks between Ukraine, Russia and the United States.
He said this after bilateral talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Censor.NET reports.
Erdogan recalled Turkey's active diplomatic role during the three years of full-scale war. In particular, he noted that Ankara played a key role in the implementation of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, from which Russia withdrew in the summer of 2023.
"Our country is an ideal host for the talks that are likely to begin between Russia, Ukraine and the United States," the Turkish leader emphasized.
To recap, Erdogan said that his country supports the full territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
