Nationwide moment of silence will be announced in Kyiv metro every day at 9:00 a.m.
To honor the memory of the fallen Defenders and civilians of Ukraine, the announcement will be broadcast at 19 stations where technically feasible.
This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration, Censor.NET reports.
It was also added that the corresponding audio message will also be heard in the salons of buses, trolleybuses and trams.
"Passenger ground transportation will not be stopped to broadcast the announcement of the moment of silence. Announcements will be made from 8:50 to 9:00 a.m., when the transport is at a stop," the statement said.
It is noted that in public transport, where there is no technical possibility, passengers will be reminded of the moment of silence by information materials.
The city will also appeal to the owners of advertising media located in the subway with a request to broadcast information messages about the national minute of silence.
"You can also receive notifications about the national moment of silence in the Kyiv Digital mobile application," the KCSA added.
