"Relations between Trump and Zelenskyy are definitely moving in wrong direction" – Waltz

National Security Advisor to the U.S. President, Mike Waltz, stated that relations between White House head Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy are deteriorating.
As reported by Censor.NET, CNN writes about this.
"These relations are currently in a state of frustration and are definitely heading in the wrong direction... But President Trump is focused on ending the hostilities, achieving a ceasefire, and reaching a broader agreement," Waltz said.
Trump's advisor added that the only thing the U.S. President wants is to "end this war."
"Not everyone has received the message that the era of endless war, which brings death and destruction from all sides, costing hundreds of billions and taking hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of lives, is over. Trump has made it very clear that he intends to end this war. All parties need to be convinced of this," he concluded.
Trump's statements about Zelenskyy's rating
As a reminder, on February 19, US President Donald Trump in a new statement called Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy a "dictator without elections" because he allegedly convinced America to "spend $350 billion on the war."
The day before, Trump said that Ukraine needs to hold elections because Zelenskyy's approval rating has dropped to 4%.
As of the first half of February 2025, 57% of Ukrainians trust President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, while 37% do not, according to a KIIS study.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the statements about his 4% rating disinformation.
