Zelenskyy is trusted by 57% of Ukrainians - KIIS poll. INFOGRAPHICS

As of the first half of February 2025, 57% of Ukrainians trust President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, while 37% do not.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology on 4-9 February 2025.
As noted, the balance of trust and distrust is +20%. Moreover, the trust indicators have improved slightly since the last survey in December 2024, when he was trusted by 52%, distrusted by 39%, and the balance of trust and distrust was +13%.
"President Zelenskyy retains a fairly high level of public trust (in fact, for a democratic society, having a current level of trust is a very good result!) and even more so, he retains legitimacy.
While some international allied partners are concerned about the president's legitimacy in the context of possible peace talks and consider it appropriate to insist on elections, Ukrainian citizens themselves have no problems with this, the current president and government are fully legitimate to conduct difficult negotiations, and elections should be held after the war is over and Ukraine has at least received reliable security guarantees," sociologists say in interpreting the survey results.
As a reminder, earlier Trump said that elections should be held in Ukraine, as Zelenskyy's approval rating had fallen to 4%.
