I think we will reach ceasefire this year - Budanov
The head of the Defense Intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, believes that a ceasefire in Ukraine could be achieved in 2025.
He said this in an interview with journalist Eynulla Fatullayev, Censor.NET reports.
"This is a paradoxical situation. Despite the fact that the starting positions of the parties are as diametrically opposed as possible. At the same time, I think we will come to a ceasefire this year. How long and effective it will be is another question. But I think it will happen," Budanov said.
According to the head of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, there are a large number of components for this.
Earlier, the media reported that the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump wants to reach a ceasefire agreement in Ukraine by Easter (April 20).
