Vehicles received by military as humanitarian aid can be refueled and repaired at expense of military units – Ministry of Defense

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has amended paragraph 16 of the Regulation on the Procedure for Accounting, Storage, Writing off, and Use of Military Property in the Armed Forces, allowing military units to decommission property used for the maintenance of vehicles received by military personnel as humanitarian aid.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense, Censor.NET reports.
As noted, the new rules introduce legal mechanisms for writing off used fuels and lubricants and spare parts for the repair or restoration of humanitarian aid vehicles, the final recipients of which are military personnel. This applies to vehicles that are temporarily registered with the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and involved in defense tasks in accordance with the procedure established by the Ministry of Defense.
This decision will ensure proper accounting of military property used to maintain vehicles received by the military as humanitarian aid. The amendments implement the provisions of the Law of Ukraine No. 3448-IX dated 08.11.2023 on the import, accounting and distribution of humanitarian aid.
