General Staff: 53 combat engagements took place in frontline, most of them in Pokrovsk, Kursk and Toretsk directions
Since the beginning of the day, as of 4 p.m., the total number of combat engagements along the entire front line is 53.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The situation in the north
The invaders do not stop using artillery on the territories of the regions bordering the enemy. The areas of Huta-Studenetska in the Chernihiv region; Bachivsk, Vovkivka, Kucherivka in the Sumy region came under fire from Russian aggressors.
Hostilities in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions, however, it did launch air strikes with FFARs (free-flight aerial rockets) on the village of Zolochiv.
Our defenders stopped three attacks by the invaders near Zahryzove in the Kupiansk direction. Another firefight is still ongoing.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, the enemy is attacking in the vicinity of Kopanky, Novoliubivka, Terny and Kolodiazi. Since the beginning of the day, there have been four combat engagements in this sector, two of which are still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attempts to advance near Vasiukivka, and the fighting is still ongoing. Kostiantynivka and Chasiv Yar came under enemy air strikes.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our troops eight times in the areas of Dyliivka and Toretsk, six engagements are still ongoing. The enemy also launched air strikes with guided bombs on Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian troops' positions 14 times in the areas of Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Svyrydonivka, Promin, Pishchane, Serhiivka, Andriivka and Ulakly; one combat engagement is still ongoing.
In the Novopavlivka direction, three enemy attacks were stopped, the invader tried to break through the defensive positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of Kostiantynopil and Burlatske. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
Hostilities in the south
The settlements of Novopil and Huliaipole in the Huliaipole direction were attacked by air with unguided missiles.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked our troops' positions twice in the areas of Shcherbaky and Piatikhatky.
In the Siversk and Prydniprovske directions, the enemy did not conduct any active operations.

Eight times the invaders attacked our defenders in the Kursk sector, in addition, the enemy launched 11 air strikes, dropping 15 GABs (guided aerial bombs), and fired 268 artillery rounds, including three from multiple launch rocket systems.
In other directions, there were no major changes in the situation.
