Enemy is most actively attacking in Pokrovsk and Kursk directions – General Staff
The Defense Forces continue to repel the Russian invaders. Since the beginning of the day, 112 combat engagements have taken place in 11 areas.

Russian shelling of Ukraine
The enemy launched three missile strikes (16 missiles), 65 air strikes, dropping 88 GABs (guided aerial bombs), used 1096 kamikaze drones, and fired more than four thousand three hundred times at settlements and positions of our troops.
The situation in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy tried to break through the defensive lines of our defenders three times, attacking towards Vovchansk and Zakhidne but was repelled.
Five enemy attacks were repelled by Ukrainian defenders in the Kupiansk direction near Zahryzove and Petropavlivka, and two more attacks are ongoing.
Hostilities in the East
Ukrainian soldiers stopped three invaders' attacks near Yampolivka and Kolodiazi in the Lyman direction, two more battles are ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy made two attempts to advance in the area of Bilohorivka, the battles ended without success for the occupiers.
In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders repelled two attempts by the invaders to advance near Chasiv Yar and Vasyukivka, one of which is still ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the occupants stormed the positions of our defenders in the Toretsk area eight times today. The defense forces are steadily holding back the attack, four firefights are still ongoing.
The enemy is intensifying attacks on Ukrainian troops in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy made 31 offensive attacks during the day. Russian occupants are most active in the areas of Promin, Pokrovsk, Pishchane, Lysivka, Vodiane Druhe, Serhiivka, Nadiivka, Bohdanivka, Sribne, Andriivka and Ulakly. Our defenders are bravely holding the line, with six combat engagements still ongoing.
According to preliminary estimates, today our troops killed 156 militants and wounded 139 in this direction. Eight vehicles, three motorcycles, a generator, four UAV antennas, a cannon, an ATV, one MTLB, an electronic warfare system and a Starlink terminal were destroyed, and two occupiers' vehicles and one cannon were heavily damaged.
The situation in the South
In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 11 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynopil, Rozdolne, Novoocheretuvate and Pryvilne. Another combat engagement is ongoing.
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy attacked three times in the areas of Novopil and Novosilka, one battle is still ongoing.
In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian invaders advanced three times on the positions of our defenders in the direction of Novoandriivka and Stepove. One combat engagement is ongoing.
In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy did not conduct any active offensive.
Kursk direction
In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders are repelling three invaders' attacks, with a total of 29 combat engagements recorded so far. The enemy launched 17 air strikes, dropping 22 guided bombs on settlements and positions of the Defense Forces, and also carried out 413 artillery attacks, including four from multiple launch rocket systems.
Today, we would like to recognize the Ukrainian soldiers of the 422nd Separate Unmanned Systems Battalion, the 406th Separate Artillery Brigade, the 100th Separate Mechanized Brigade, the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, and the 60th Separate Mechanized Ingulets Brigade, who are steadfastly holding back the advance of the enemy's superior forces.
