Scholz assures Zelenskyy that Germany will continue to support Ukraine

"This afternoon, Chancellor Scholz spoke on the phone with President Zelensky and discussed the current military and humanitarian situation, as well as ways to achieve a just peace in Ukraine. The chancellor reaffirmed his unwavering and unwavering solidarity with Ukraine," said federal government spokesman Steffen Gebestreit.
It is noted that Scholz assured Zelensky that Germany will continue to support Ukraine in close coordination with European and international partners until a just, comprehensive and lasting peace is achieved.
In turn, President Zelenskyy thanked Germany for its continued military and financial support.
The two leaders agreed that Ukraine should be at the peace negotiating table and that European security issues should be discussed together with Europeans.
According to the German government spokesperson, Scholz and Zelenskyy also confirmed the need for close coordination between Ukraine and its closest partners.
