Ukraine should be part of peace talks, - Merz
The leader of the CDU/CSU bloc, Friedrich Merz, whose party won the German parliamentary elections, said that Ukraine should be directly involved in peace talks to achieve a just peace.
Mertz wrote about this on 24 February on the social network X (Twitter), Censor.NET reports.
"Now, more than ever, we must put Ukraine in a strong position. To achieve a just peace, the country under attack must be part of the peace talks," Merz said.
According to him, after three years of Russia's war of aggression, Europe remains firmly on the side of Ukraine.
