Poland to hand over 46th aid package to Ukraine worth over EUR 200 million – Defense Minister Kosiniak- Kamysz

Poland is preparing the 46th package of military assistance to Ukraine worth more than 200 million euros.
This was stated by Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Defense Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, Censor.NET reports.
"We are currently preparing the 46th assistance to Ukraine, which will cost more than 200 million euros. This is sometimes more than some European countries donated during the entire war. This is the 46th contribution, and we will continue to help, I would like to emphasize this," he said.
Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized that Poland has been a leader in military support for Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, promptly providing tanks, heavy equipment and ammunition. He also emphasized that, given the country's economic capabilities, Poland remains among the leaders in terms of military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
"We will train Ukrainian soldiers, and we have fulfilled this mission. Out of 80-90 thousand soldiers trained by the EU countries, Poland has trained about a third - 28 thousand. We are a leader in this area," Kosiniak-Kamysh said.
Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk reportedly announced the preparation of this package at a press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on January 15. Deliveries are expected to begin soon.
