Macron tells EU leaders about his meeting with Trump

On Wednesday, February 26, European leaders held a videoconference during which French President Emmanuel Macron spoke about his meeting with his American counterpart Donald Trump.
The French leader announced this on the social network X, Censor.NET reports.
"After my discussions with Donald Trump in Washington and in preparation for the March 6 summit, we reaffirmed our commitment to work together on the conditions for a lasting and durable peace in Ukraine and the security of Europe," Macron said.
The video conference was initiated by the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa. He wrote on social media platform X that the information from Macron was "very useful" for preparing for the March 6 summit, where decisions are expected to be made to support Ukraine and strengthen European defense.
"Very useful (meeting - ed.) to prepare our special European Council on March 6, where we will decide on our support for Ukraine and strengthening European defense," Costa wrote.
To recap, Macron arrived at the White House on February 24 to meet with Trump.
