Zelenskyy: Ukraine is ready to pay for new US aid, but not for the past one

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is ready to pay for future US aid if such a demand is made.
He said this during a press conference on Wednesday, Censor.NET reports.
"We are ready to talk, if it is a condition that further assistance to Ukraine will not be free - this is a new reality, it may be. I mean, everyone understands the conditions we are in, we are at war. And I think we will not be able to pick and choose and play with this," Zelenskyy said.
Zelenskyy explained that future agreements between Ukraine and the United States would discuss financing, management of the joint fund, and security guarantees in more detail.
"If they say to me: we continue to help you in a financial format, [if the United States says that] we give you weapons worth 30 billion, you have to return something to us. They will say what - we will return it. We will, because we will need this help," the President emphasized.
