DPA denied information about lack of ammunition contracts

The Defense Industry Agency has denied claims that there are no contracts for the purchase of ammunition for the Armed Forces.
The Agency reported this in the comments to Shabunin's post, Censor.NET reports.
"To avoid manipulations, we inform you that since the beginning of the year, budget commitments in the amount of UAH 57.3 billion have been made in the direction of "ammunition" for the funds of 2025 based on additional agreements to state contracts. Of this amount, UAH 53.8 billion was spent between January 27 and today," they said.
The APO noted that during the requested period, work was carried out with the customer (the Armed Forces of Ukraine) to revise the pricing for certain nomenclatures, which allowed the launch of a new contract.
"Also, the procurement process was restructured within the DPA, which allowed us to hold a tender to comprehensively and non-discriminatorily assess the market's ability to fulfill orders.
At present, the names and counterparties for the total amount of UAH 38,537,743,048 have been determined for contracting in the area of ammunition," the Agency added.
The day before, the head of the AntAC Vitalii Shabunin said that the Defense Procurement Agency had not signed a single contract for the purchase of ammunition since the beginning of 2025.
