Putin and I want to make peace, but Zelenskyy doesn’t. He "overstepped his bounds" in Oval Office - Trump

After a quarrel with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, US President Donald Trump said that yesterday's meeting at the White House was not successful and that the Ukrainian leader allegedly "went overboard."
Trump said this to journalists near the White House, Censor.NET reports, with reference to European Pravda.
In a conversation with journalists before leaving for Florida, Trump said he was looking for peace in the war between Russia and Ukraine.
"I want immediate peace. President Putin will want to make it, and he wants to make it - he wants to put an end to it. You saw what I saw today: this is (Zelenskyy - Ed.) a man who wants to force us to sign and continue to fight. We will not do that," Trump said.
He also said that the Ukrainian president "went overboard" in the Oval Office.
"We are looking for peace. We're not looking for somebody who's going to sign an agreement with a powerful country and then not make peace because they feel confident," Trump said.
He added that "we're not going to keep fighting, we're going to end the war or let them go and see what happens, let them fight their own war."
Trump also repeated several times the phrase he had said earlier during his argument with Zelenskyy that the Ukrainian president allegedly "doesn't have any cards to play."
