US military aid to Ukraine will be halted - White House spokeswoman Leavitt

Leavitt on further assistance to Ukraine

The United States will no longer provide military assistance to Ukraine. The priority is peace talks, not the continuation of the war.

According to Censor.NET, with reference to Glavkom, this was stated by White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt.

"We are no longer going to just write blank checks for a war in a very distant country without a real, lasting peace," she said.

The US presidential spokeswoman also noted that the scandal between politicians that took place in the White House, by a happy coincidence, became public, so Americans should realize the difficulty of negotiating with Ukrainians behind closed doors.

As a reminder, Levitt accused Zelenskyy of rudeness, noting that he refused to recognize the pragmatic reality of the war and tried to get help from the United States without much gratitude for it.

On February 28, US President Donald Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House. During the meeting in the Oval Office, the two began to argue and switched to a higher tone.

Subsequently, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy left the White House early. In the end, no agreement on minerals between Ukraine and the United States was signed in Washington.
