Occupiers are concentrating their efforts on Pokrovsk, Toretsk, and Kursk directions - General Staff
Since the beginning of the day, 72 combat engagements have taken place in the frontline. Our defenders are stopping the enemy, holding the line, and destroying the Russians' plans. At the same time, the occupiers continued to focus their efforts on the Pokrovsk, Toretsk, and Kursk directions.

The border towns and villages of our country continue to suffer from Russian artillery shelling. Today, the settlements of Tymonovychi in the Chernihiv region and Hirky, Korenok, and Petrushivka in the Sumy region were hit. Lyutivka in the Kharkiv region came under air strikes.
Fighting in the Kharkiv region
In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy made one attempt to advance to our positions near Zahryzove since the beginning of the day, which was successfully repelled by Ukrainian defenders.
Combat actions in the Donetsk region
The aggressor attacked the positions of our troops seven times in the Liman sector near Nove and in the direction of Novomykhailivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, our defenders successfully repelled three enemy attacks in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Hryhorivka, and Oleksandr-Shultyno.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy attacked our troops' defensive positions 12 times in the areas of Toretsk and Shcherbynivka. Six firefights are still ongoing.
The enemy's activity remains high in the Pokrovsk sector. Thirteen times today, clashes of varying intensity started there. Ukrainian troops repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Tarasivka, Promin, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Kotliarivka, Andriivka, and Ulakly. Pokrovsk, Hryshyne and Leontovychi were hit by air strikes.
The occupants tried to break through four times in the directions of Kostiantynopol and Skudne in the Novopavlivka sector but were stopped by our defenders. The enemy launched air strikes on the areas of Voskresenka and Sichneve.
Combat actions in the South
In the Huliaipol sector, the aggressor conducted air strikes in the areas of Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, and Pryiutne. Moreover, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled one enemy attack near Pryvilne.
The battle in the area of Nesterianka in the Orikhiv sector continues.
In the Prydniprovsky sector, the enemy has stormed the positions of our defenders twice, and one firefight is currently underway.
In the Kharkiv and Siverskyi sectors, the enemy has not conducted any active operations since the beginning of the day.
Operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation
In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled 14 invaders' attacks, and eight more clashes are ongoing. In addition, the enemy launched 10 air strikes using 17 guided bombs.
"Ukrainian troops are depleting the enemy along the entire combat line and in the rear," the General Staff added.
