Russians have begun to use fiber-optic drones more often, especially in urban areas - National Guard

Russian invaders have increased the use of drones on fiber optics at the front, as well as in urban areas.

As Censor.NET reports, this was announced during a telethon by the spokesman for the National Guard of Ukraine, Ruslan Muzychuk.

"The percentage of drones used on fiber optics has increased in various parts of the front. We see that the enemy is also learning to use them, is trying to develop this area, and it is characteristic that they are now used quite often in urban areas, near battles, in particular in the Torets and Kupyansk areas," Muzychuk said.

At the same time, he assured that the National Guard is also developing the use of unmanned systems. The spokesman added that the occupiers' air superiority is a significant obstacle.

"The (Russians' - ed.) air superiority is a fairly significant obstacle on the front line, and as we see, it is not only strikes on our positions, on front-line settlements, it is, as our servicemen say, a relatively cheap alternative to enemy cruise missiles, and a zone of impact from 40 to 60 kilometers, where the enemy tries, without flying an aircraft to the front line, where it can fall into the zone of action of our air defense, to launch precisely such KABs," noted Muzychuk.

According to him, during the day the number of artillery shelling can reach hundreds, and KABs - even more.

Let us recall that the Russian invaders in the Kherson region launch dozens, or even hundreds, of FPV drones every day.

Нагадаємо, російські загарбники на Херсонщині щодня запускають десятками, а то й сотнями FPV-дрони.
