Maxar Technologies disables access to satellite imagery for Ukraine

Aerospace company Maxar Technologies has disabled access to its satellite imagery for Ukraine.

This was reported by Militarnyi with reference to several users of the commercial service, Censor.NET reports.

"The official justification that users received from Maxar's administration was 'at the administrative request'. In fact, the disconnection was the result of the US government's ban on providing intelligence to Ukraine.

That is, the administration of President Donald Trump, through the State Department, has banned the provision of satellite data for Ukraine to American companies and commercial services," the newspaper writes.

This applies to both government and private users.

US suspends transfer of intelligence to Ukraine

The United States has completely stopped sharing all intelligence information with Ukraine, including that which could be used to strike Russian troops in the occupied Ukrainian territories, Sky News reported.

CIA Director John Ratcliffe confirmed that the United States has suspended arms supply and intelligence sharing with Ukraine.

Ukraine received 80% of its intelligence from partners, mainly the United States.
